First Day of School and......... YUCK!

I don't know if we would have had as many students enroll at Service Valley this year if they knew they were going to have to eat Fried Green Tomatoes the very first day of school.
Mrs. Farris had invited me down to her K/1 classroom in the afternoon to try her "delicious" treat. I was skeptical and I think a lot of the students were as well however, we soon found out that Fried Green Tomatoes are actually delicious!
These tomatoes came from our very own gardens and were picked by the K/1 students today. There are more exciting projects coming soon from the rest of the school so keep coming back to check for more updates!
