GOVERNOR'S ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

The USD 504 Board of Education is very proud to announce that the Kansas State Department of Education has presented the Governor’s Achievement Award for the 2008-2009 school year to Oswego High School.
The Governor’s Achievement Award honors top performing schools in the State of Kansas and is awarded to Oswego High School for achieving the Building level Standard of Excellence is both Reading and Math, meeting all requirements of Annual Yearly Progress including graduation rate, and for being in the top 5% of all Kansas high schools in both Reading and Math on the 2009 state assessments.
Only seventeen high schools across the State of Kansas qualified for this prestigious award.
“The Governor’s Achievement Award is further recognition of Oswego High School’s continuing exemplary academic performance which ranks our students, faculty and staff not only among the top performing in the Southeast Kansas region, but now the entire State of Kansas.”
