We had an amazing time hosting the College & Career Fair for students in grades 7-12 at Oswego Jr./Sr. High! 🎓✨
In partnership with Rural Outreach Education, this event provided students with a fantastic opportunity to explore various colleges, career paths, and future opportunities. It was a day of inspiration, learning, and connecting with professionals and educational institutions that can help guide their next steps. 🏫💼
A huge thank you to all the colleges, businesses, and organizations who participated.

Last week was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and meaningful connections at our Game Night Mentoring Event! 🕹️
Students had the chance to hang out with their mentors, play some exciting games, and learn valuable lessons along the way. 🤝 Whether it was gaming strategies or life advice, everyone walked away with a little more knowledge and a lot of new memories!
Thank you to all the mentors for your time and guidance, and to the students for making the night so enjoyable! Also a big thank you to Elm Acres Grant for making this program a possibility!

We will take the next couple weeks off from archery practice. We are in the process of finding out who all can go to Nationals. When we know who can go we will make plans to start practice up again. Will communicate practice schedule when we find out.

Parents,
I am really looking forward to the state tournament tomorrow. I would like to take this time to thank each and every one of you for your continued commitment to the archery program. I sincerely hope you know how much I truly appreciate your willingness to make sure your kids are at these tournaments. I wish all of you safe travels to the tournament. I am really looking forward to the tournament and the opportunity our kids have before them.
There will be two booths set up at the tournament. The first one I want to mention is the Kansas Wildlife and Parks booth. The second one is the Kansas BowHunters Association booth. The first one helped write us a grant to help with the purchase of the 3D targets. The second one donated money to help purchase the 3D targets. We would not have been able to purchase them and host a 3D tournament without their help. Please make a point of having your child stop by and thank them for their generosity. I know it would mean a bunch to both of them.
Thank you and I look forward to seeing all of you tomorrow.

This month, our 8th & 10th grade students had the exciting opportunity to participate in RealityU at Greenbush! 🎓✨ This hands-on experience allowed them to choose a career, marital status, and family situation, then challenge them to manage their finances with a real-life salary. Students quickly learned the importance of budgeting and balancing monthly expenses based on their life choices. What an eye-opening experience for their future! 💡💰 #RealityU #FinancialLiteracy #FutureLeaders

The address for the state archery tournament this Saturday is: Kansas State Fairgrounds, 2000 Poplar Street, Hutchinson, Kansas 67502. They shoot bullseye in the Meadowlark Building and 3D in the Sunflower South Building.

It's that time of year again when our students are gearing up to take state assessments! Our goal is to make the day as fun and stress-free as possible between tests. Last year, we grilled out, and the students loved it! We plan to do the same this year. If you'd like to donate to help make this day a success, please let us know! Thank you for supporting our students!

We will need to change our archery practice schedule this week . We will have 3D practice on Tuesday and Friday. Bullseye practice will be on Wednesday. There will also be an activity bus available to take students back to Parsons for those that want to stay after school and practice. Please let me know if you have any questions. All these practices will be in the NEHI gym.

We will not have archery practice this week. We will practice over spring break if you can make it. Spring break practice will be Monday thru Thursday 10:00-12:00 and Saturday, March 22 5:30-8:00. We will have our regular practice schedule starting March 24. Practice over spring break will be in the NEHI gym.

Please show up at least 45 minutes before you shoot at our archery tournament tomorrow.

The archery tournament Saturday, March 8 will be held at the Leggett and Platt Athletic Center at Missouri Southern State College.
