1B received their book of the month and it was Do Unto Otters. Mrs. Smith's class has donors who sponsored each child and they will receive a dollar book of the week from Scholastic each month they are in school.

The Neosho Heights Spelling Bee will be held Thursday, September 26 at 10:00 am. The bee will be held in the NeHi gymnasium, and parents and friends are welcome to attend! The following students will be representing their classes:
