Second graders in Mrs. McKibben’s MTSS group have been working on a play this week. They shared it with 4B this afternoon, and they did a wonderful job!


NeHi students were welcomed by OJSHS volleyball players this morning!


The Neosho Heights Spelling Bee will be held Thursday, September 26 at 10:00 am. The bee will be held in the NeHi gymnasium, and parents and friends are welcome to attend! The following students will be representing their classes:
3rd grade - Jayden Dobbs and Claire Baker
4th grade - Logan Gatewood and Casey Manning
5th grade - Kimberly Littlepage and Hayden Hanna
6th grade - Jaya Fiscus and Alex Hellwig

NeHi had a full house yesterday afternoon for Grandparents Day! We would like to thank everyone that was able to join us, and we hope that you enjoyed our program, the refreshments, and the classroom time with your grandchildren! Happy Grandparents Day!


Timber Shields was "Camper of the Day" today in Ms. Schmidt's kindergarten class.


Miss Ann’s morning and afternoon preschool classes made apple scientist glasses to wear for their apple volcano experiment. They had a lot of fun watching the apple volcano erupt. The students are learning the letter Aa this week.

1B was reading about storms in their reading unit. We did a science experiment and learned about the water cycle and made our own rain

A parent of mine shared an idea that she saw on Facebook with me. I decided to try it in my own classroom.❤️My kids adopted a pet and they are supposed to read their fluency story to their pet each night. (Thanks Rachael❤️)

Tomorrow morning at 9:00 am, Neosho Heights will be conducting a crisis drill. If you see or hear of students evacuating, alarms sounding, law enforcement responding, please know this is only a safety drill.

We would like to give a big Thank You to officer Conrad for providing our students with bicycle and walking safety today.

Kesslen Nesbitt was "Camper of the Day" in Ms. Schmidt's kindergarten class on Friday.


Kindergarten has been reading books about kindness, accepting others, and filling each other's invisible buckets. Kindergarten visited every student and adult at Neosho Heights this morning with a little treat from their kindness cart. The smile on their faces as they passed out treats showed the joy they had by giving to others.
